The Stolin Interdistrict Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Plants reminds! In order to preserve the pike perch population and create favorable conditions for its reproduction in all fishing grounds of the republic, from April 15 to May 30, its fishing is prohibited.
If pike perch is caught (caught) within the specified time frame, it must be immediately released into its natural habitat (directly to the place of catch) with the least damage, regardless of its condition. For illegal fishing of pike perch, administrative liability is provided under Part 1 of Article 16.25 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus, and the violator faces a fine of 10 to 30 basic units and for each individual pike perch will also have to pay damages, which is calculated on the basis of taxes calculated in triple the amount. Thus, for one pike perch the damage will be 18 basic units (720 rubles). If the amount of damage is 100 or more basic units, criminal liability arises.
In addition, for being in fishing grounds or in the adjacent territory at a distance of up to one kilometer from the coastline of fishing grounds with pike perch, fishing for which is prohibited from April 15 to May 30, without documents confirming the legality of possession of fish, or its movement (transportation) ) administrative liability is provided for under Part 3 of Article 16.25 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus, which entails a fine in the amount of 5 to 30 basic units.
