About the competition “Kvitney, my forest”
The State Forestry Institution “Stolin Forestry” brings to your attention information about the holding of the Republican Junior Forestry Competition “Kvitney, My Forest”.
Traditionally, the competition is held in the following categories:
• “Sustainable forest management”;
• “Ecology of forest plants”;
• “Ecology of forest animals.”
To take part in the competition, schoolchildren must send the following materials to the Brest Forestry Enterprise:
• application for participation in the competition indicating the nomination, surname, first name, patronymic (if any), age, residence address of the competition participant, name and location of the educational institution in which the competition participant is studying, contact telephone number;
• an abstract on the topic of the nomination, which must contain: a title page indicating the name of the nomination, the title of the abstract, the surname, first name, patronymic (if any) of the competition participant, the name and location of the educational institution in which the competition participant is studying; annotation (no more than 20 lines); introduction; description of the methods used; description of the research and the results obtained; conclusion; bibliography; applications (tables, graphs, photo illustrations).
Until May 20, the best in each nomination will be selected at the regional level, after which the jury - and these are industry workers, representatives of scientific and educational institutions, and industry trade union organizations - will select the strongest works to present them at the republican stage of the competition.
The winners of the republican competition will receive diplomas and valuable prizes from the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus, as well as the opportunity to represent our country at the International Junior Forestry Competition.
