Dear residents of the Stolin District!
A heightened snow alert has been issued in the Brest Region due to heavy snow in many districts. Wind gusts of up to 15-20 m/s are expected. According to forecasters, the storm will hit the central and eastern districts of the Brest Region the hardest, including the Stolin District. All necessary measures are being taken to ensure the smooth operation of institutions and organizations during the inclement weather. All district services have been mobilized, primarily road workers, utility workers, power engineers, the District Department of Emergency Situations, and the State Traffic Inspectorate. Particular attention is being paid to the functioning of educational and healthcare institutions. To ensure normal traffic flow, road and utility services are working without interruption to clear snow. We recommend strictly observing traffic rules and, if possible, avoiding walking and driving private cars and using public transportation. We call on all concerned citizens to provide any assistance they can to lonely and elderly individuals who are unable to clear snow on their own. Caring for others isn't just words, but real actions that unite. The situation is under constant monitoring. Alexander Pachko, Chairman of the Stolin District Executive Committee
