Belarusians can expect a long weekend in April, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection told BelTA. Belarusians can expect four days of spring break. According to the Orthodox calendar, Tuesday, April 21, known as Radunitsa, will be a non-working day in 2026. "The working day of April 20 (Monday) is moved to Saturday, April 25. Thus, the days off will be April 18 (Saturday), 19 (Sunday), 20 (Monday), and 21 (Tuesday) in 2026—four days," the ministry explained. Organizations, taking into account the specifics of their operations, are granted the right to move the working day (April 20) to another day off that falls on a Saturday. Incidentally, early May will also offer the opportunity for a longer rest period. Labor Day, May Day, falls on a Friday this year.
