FOR THE 80TH ANNIVERSARY OF LIBERATION FROM THE GERMAN-FASCIST INVADERS, AN EMBLEM WAS APPROVED, REFLECTING THE STRENGTH AND INCONQUEST OF THE WINNING PEOPLE

 During Operation Bagration, the Soviet army inflicted the largest defeat on the German army in the entire military history of Germany, defeating the Wehrmacht's Army Group Center. It is rightfully considered one of the largest military operations in the entire history of mankind, and for the Belarusian people – the most fateful. Indeed, thanks to the decisive actions of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd Belorussian and 1st Baltic fronts in the period from June 23 to August 29, 1944, the Belarusian land was completely liberated from the Nazis, who terrorized, robbed and destroyed our people.
