Registration and submissions are now open for the 10th Open International Children's Drawing Competition "Children Are Friends on the Planet," organized by the Ministry of Education of Belarus in collaboration with the National Center for Children's and Youth Art. The event aims to strengthen international cultural ties, develop children's creativity, support talented children and youth, and share experiences among educators. The competition is open to children and youth aged 4 to 16 (based on age categories). All participants must register using the link. This year's theme is "Science and Fantasy: A Bridge to the Future." Participants are invited to present their vision of a future where science, artificial intelligence, robotics, and new technologies play a key role. Works can reflect scientific discoveries, human interaction with AI, environmental technologies, and the future of cities and architecture. Participants can explore the future of energy sources, transportation, and medicine, as well as how technology will change our lives, help preserve nature, and explore space. Competition entries may be in various forms and genres of fine art, using any materials, and in A3-A2 format. Drawings must be submitted no later than March 1, 2026, to the following address: 16 Kirov Street, Minsk, 220030, Republic of Belarus. Competition winners will be awarded first-, second-, and third-degree diplomas from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus in each nomination and age category. The authors of the 500 best works will receive diplomas from the National Center for Children's and Youth Art, and educational institutions will receive letters of appreciation.
