The editorial staff of the "Naviny Palessya" newspaper received a national award.

The awards ceremony for the winners of the national competition for the best media coverage of the activities of emergency response agencies and units and the fundamentals of life safety was held at the Security Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus in Minsk. The editorial staff of the Stolin district newspaper "Naviny Palessya" won the competition in the "Promotion of Life Safety of the Population" category. The award was presented to correspondent Lyudmila Kasperovich by Emergency Situations Minister Vadim Sinyavsky.
