Sergei Stepanovich Zhidetsky was born on August 27, 1979, in Pinsk, Brest Region. He graduated from Brest State Technical University in 2004 and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus in 2021.
From 1998 to 2000, he worked as a second-category topographer in field survey work for the topographic and geodetic survey expedition of the Polesiegiprovodkhoz Institute in Pinsk.
