Manages the construction, fuel and energy complexes, road infrastructure of the region, housing and communal services;
coordinates the activities of district services to prevent and eliminate the consequences of accidents and natural disasters, including issues of eliminating the consequences of the Chernobyl accident;
controls the implementation of social standards for serving the population of the district in supervised industries.
Supervises issues:
construction, installation, and road organizations of the region;
architecture and urban planning;
construction design organizations;
state construction supervision;
conducting contract bidding (tenders) in capital construction;
construction of gas stations;
energy sector, regardless of the form of ownership of the organization;
energy saving regardless of the form of ownership of the organization;
supervision over the rational use of fuel and energy resources;
collection (harvesting) of secondary material resources;
bath services for the population;
international cooperation in accordance with the distribution of responsibilities;
improvement of the territories of settlements in the region;
timely payment of wages in supervised industries;
labor protection and labor relations in supervised industries;
implementation of state border policy in the region;

a commission to inspect the condition of residential premises, recognize them as not meeting sanitary and technical requirements, unsuitable for habitation, as well as consider questions about the possibility of using exploited permanent structures (buildings, structures) for their intended purpose;

commission for control over the operation of the housing stock;
commission on making decisions on unauthorized buildings;

State program “Energy Saving” for 2016-2020, approved by Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated March 28, 2016 No. 248;
State program “Housing Construction” for 2016-2020, approved by Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated April 21, 2016 No. 325;
State program “Comfortable housing and favorable environment” for 2016-2020, approved by Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated April 21, 2016 No. 326;
State program for the development and maintenance of highways in the Republic of Belarus for 2017-2020, approved by Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated September 18, 2017 No. 699;
