Analyzes, develops and implements a general strategy for the socio-economic development of the region, budget execution and implements measures to modernize the economy;
coordinates work in the field of economics, transport, communications, pricing, property relations, non-cash payments, statistics and analysis, entrepreneurship and investment policy, labor, trade, forestry, provision of services to the population, insurance activities, state signs and securities, foreign economic and regional communications, roadside services (in terms of trade and public catering), consumer protection, development of the distribution network.
Supervises issues:
coordinating the work of departments and departments of the district executive committee in terms of economic development of the region;
budget execution;
work of industrial, trade and service enterprises of all forms of ownership;
industrial development, quality and competitiveness of industrial products;
investment policy;
work of organizations of railway, road, river and air transport, including non-state ownership;
communications, including mobile cellular telecommunications operators;
state registration and liquidation (termination of activities) of business entities;
development of science and innovation, intellectual property;
modernization of enterprises and organizations of all forms of ownership;
reforming state organizations and organizations with a state share;
promoting employment;
creating new jobs;
trade and services, regardless of the form of ownership;
roadside service (in terms of trade and public catering);
consumer protection;
entrepreneurship development;
foreign economic relations;
functioning of the financial system at the district level;
interaction with banks regarding lending to industrial enterprises and investment projects;
involving unused state property in economic circulation;
collection and processing of scrap and waste of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, precious metals;
operation of car service stations;
improving the wage system and labor standardization in sectors of the economy;
timely payment of wages in supervised organizations and enterprises of the district;
international cooperation in accordance with the distribution of responsibilities.

commission for monitoring the timely payment of wages, repayment of arrears in payments to the social protection fund and compliance with minimum wage guarantees;

other commissions, councils, working groups on the supervised industry, created by the district executive committee, the chairman of the district executive committee.
