The Stolin District education system in the 2024/2025 academic year is represented by 77 institutions: Stolin State Gymnasium, 35 secondary schools, 3 basic schools, 1 primary school, 32 preschool institutions, 2 children's creativity centers, the district center for tourism and local history of children and youth, the socio-pedagogical center of the Stolin District, the center for correctional and developmental education and rehabilitation.
The contingent of students in general secondary education institutions of the district amounted to 9858 people at the beginning of the 2024/2025 academic year (2023/2024 - 10136), of which: 877 students entered the first grade (2023/2024 academic year - 891). The average class size in the district is 15.36 students, including 21.48 in the city and 12.62 in rural areas.
To ensure the transportation of students and pupils to the place of study, educational institutions have 22 units of transport.
Students of the district annually take part in the third and final stages of the Republican Olympiad in academic subjects. Based on the results of participation in 2023 in the third regional stage of the Olympiad, students of the district won 3 diplomas (2023 - 3 diplomas, 2022 - 7, 2021 - 6, 2020 - 6). One student represented the region in the final stage of the Republican Olympiad in Belarusian language and literature.
Upon completion of training and education at the II stage of general secondary education in 2024, 1091 students received certificates, 72 of them with honors. Upon completion of training and education at the third stage of general secondary education, 640 students received certificates, including 7 - as external students.
42 graduates were awarded a gold medal, 1 - a silver medal. 99 graduates were awarded certificates of commendation for special achievements in the study of individual subjects.
315 11th-grade students completed vocational training, 293 received a certificate of training, retraining, advanced training of a worker (employee). In the 2024/2025 academic year, vocational training was organized for 607 students in 11 specialties, including in the 10th grade - for 320 students in 10 specialties, in the 11th grade - for 287 students in 10
According to the results of the Central Examination, 8 students received 100 points, according to the results of the Central Test, 1 student received 100 points.
There are 1,740 teaching staff in the district's education system, of which: 1,300 in the general secondary education system, 352 in preschool education institutions, 88 in additional education institutions.
There are 3 methodologists in the district. 77% of teachers have the first and highest qualification category (last year 76%).
In 2024, 11 young specialists were employed in the district's educational institutions.
