PRUS MIKHAIL IGNATYEVICH


Prus Mikhail Ignatievich was born on January 14, 1948 in Stolin, Brest region.


In 1972 he graduated from the Minsk State Medical Institute.


Since 1975, a surgeon at the Stolin Central District Hospital, since 1999 - head of the surgical department of the Stolin Central District Hospital.


He was awarded the medal "For Labor Merit". He was a deputy of the Brest Regional Council of Deputies.


By decision of the Stolin District Council of Deputies in December 2008, for many years of labor merit and great personal contribution to improving and perfecting the provision of medical care to the population of the district, he was awarded the title "Honorary Citizen of the Stolin District".


ANDREYKOVETS IVAN FEDOROVICH

Andreykovets Ivan Fedorovich was born on September 10, 1941 in the village of Kolki, Stolin district, Brest region.


In 1974 he graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Railway Engineers.


From 1977, the head of the mobile mechanized column No. 89, from 1987 to November 2006 - the head of the State Unitary Enterprise "Stolin PMK-24". Currently on a well-deserved rest.


In 2001, he was awarded the honorary title "Honored Builder of the Republic of Belarus".


By the decision of the Stolin District Council of Deputies in December 2009, for many years of labor merit and great personal contribution to the construction industry of the district, he was awarded the title "Honorary Citizen of the Stolin District".


DEMKO GRIGORY ALEKSEEVICH


Demko Grigory Alekseevich was born on March 13, 1946 in the village of B. Maleshevo, Stolin district, Brest region.


In 1968 he graduated from the Belarusian Agricultural Academy.


Since 1989, the chairman of the collective farm "Progress", since 2003 - SPK "Fedorsky".


In 2006, he was awarded the honorary title "Honored Worker of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus". Cavalier of the Order of the Red Banner of Labor and the Order of the Fatherland, 3rd degree. He was a deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.


By the decision of the Stolin District Council of Deputies in December 2009, for many years of labor merit and great personal contribution to the agro-industrial complex of the district, he was awarded the title "Honorary Citizen of the Stolin District".


KOVALETS NADEZHDA IVANOVNA


(20.05.1927 г.- 01.02.2020 г.)

Kovalets Nadezhda Ivanovna was born on May 20, 1927 in the village of Khilchitsy, Zhitkovichi district, Gomel region.


In 1965 she graduated from the Brest Pedagogical Institute named after A.S. Pushkin.


From 1950 to 1987 she was a teacher, deputy director for educational and upbringing work at B. Maleshevskaya Secondary School. Currently on a well-deserved rest.


In 1973 she was awarded the honorary title "Honored Teacher of the BSSR". In 1978 - the honorary title "Hero of Socialist Labor". Cavalier of the Order of the Red Banner of Labor. She was a deputy of the Brest Regional Council of Deputies.

SUPRUNCHIK IVAN FILIPPOVICH


Suprunchik Ivan Filippovich was born on October 23, 1942 in the village of Tereblichi, Stolin district, Brest region.


In 1980 he graduated from the Mogilev Library College.


Since 1969, he has been a librarian at the Tereblichi rural library. Since December 2007, he has been a junior researcher at the people's ethnographic museum in the village of Tereblichi. In 2001, the museum was awarded the honorary title of "people's".


Member of the Belarusian Union of Folk Art Masters. In 2001, he was awarded a special prize of the President of the Republic of Belarus "For Spiritual Revival".


By the decision of the Stolin District Council of Deputies in December 2009, he was awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Stolin District" for his great personal contribution to the preservation of historical and cultural heritage.


MARKOVSKY GEORGY ANDREEVICH

Markovsky Georgy Andreevich was born in the village of Osovo, Berezinsky district, Minsk region.


In 1959 he graduated from the Belarusian Forestry Institute named after S.M. Kirov, Minsk. In 1979 - the Academy of Social Sciences under the Central Committee of the CPSU, Moscow.


He began his career in Polesie in 1965, as the director of the Stolin forestry enterprise, he subsequently achieved significant heights and was appointed to the post of Minister of Forestry of the BSSR. From 1979 to 1984 he was the first secretary of the Stolin district committee of the Communist Party of Belarus.


Full member of the Belarusian Engineering Academy, corresponding member of the International Engineering Academy.


Cavalier of the Order of Friendship of Peoples, awarded the medal "For Valiant Labor".


By the decision of the Stolin District Council of Deputies in December 2014, for significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the Stolin District and active public work, he was awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Stolin District".


BOKACH ALEXANDER IOSIFOVICH


Bokach Alexander Iosifovich was born on May 21, 1942.


In 1969 he graduated from the Belarusian Institute of Agricultural Mechanization, Minsk.


He began his career in Stolin region in 1983. From 1984 to 1990 he was the first secretary of the Stolin District Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus. From 1992 to 1994 - Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus. Currently on a well-deserved rest.


Cavalier of the Order of the October Revolution, the Red Banner of Labor.

SHELEKHOV MIKHAIL VLADIMIROVICH



(18.10.1926 г.-31.05.2015 г.)

Mikhail Vladimirovich Shelekhov was born in the village of Bakharovichi, Pukhovichi district, Minsk region.


In 1951 he graduated from the State Pedagogical Institute named after A.M. Gorky, Minsk.


He worked in rural schools of the Stolin district. From 1962 to 1986 - director of secondary school No. 2 in the village of Gorodok.


Veteran of the Great Patriotic War. Cavalier of the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree, the Red Star, awarded the medals "For the capture of Berlin", "For the victory over Germany", "For valiant labor". Excellent worker of public education of the BSSR and the USSR.


Local historian, author of the book “Davyd-Garadok. Hour and People”, active public figure.


By the decision of the Stolin District Council of Deputies in December 2014, for many years of labor merits and a great personal contribution to the education of the Stolin District and the military-patriotic education of the younger generation, he was awarded the title “Honorary Citizen of the Stolin District”.


MIKULICH ALEXEY VASIL’EVICH


Mikulich Aleksey Vasilyevich was born on June 13, 1953 in the village of Ozdamichi, Stolin district, Brest region.


In 1982 he graduated from the Agricultural Institute, Grodno. In 1998 - the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus.


From 1976 to 1980 - chief veterinarian of the Druzhba collective farm, Stolin district. From 1986 to the present - director of the Mankovichi state unitary enterprise.


Professor, Doctor of Economics.


By the decision of the Stolin District Council of Deputies in December 2014, for many years of labor merit and great personal contribution to the agro-industrial complex of the Stolin district, he was awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Stolin District".


OVSYANIK ELENA KONSTANTINOVNA


(23.01.1945 г. – 25.06.2020 г.)

Ovsyanik Elena Konstantinovna was born on January 23, 1945 in the village of Struga, Stolin district, Brest region.


In 1988 she graduated from the Institute of Culture, Minsk.


All her working activities are connected with the Stolin region. From 1978 to 2005 - director of the Stolin children's music school.


Choirmaster of the Honored amateur group of the Republic of Belarus, the choir "Krynitsa" of the Stolin city House of Culture.


By the decision of the Stolin District Council of Deputies in December 2014, for active social activities, significant contribution to the development of choral art, she was awarded the title "Honorary Citizen of the Stolin District".


ANTONOVICH IVAN NIKOLAEVICH


Antonovich Ivan Nikolaevich was born on June 27, 1958 in the village of Lobcha, Luninets district, Brest region.


In 1985 he graduated from the Belarusian Agricultural Academy.


Since 1985 - chief economist, and since 1990 - deputy chairman of the collective farm "For the Motherland" (Stolin district), since 1999 - chairman of the collective farm "17th Party Congress" (village Semigostichi, Stolin district), since 2003 - chairman of the agricultural production cooperative "New Pripyat", since 2015 - director of OJSC "New Pripyat".


In 2015 he was awarded the medal "For Labor Merit".


He was a member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the sixth convocation, deputy of the Brest Regional Council of Deputies.


By the decision of the Stolin District Council of Deputies in December 2019, for many years of labor merits and significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the Stolin District, he was awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Stolin District".



OSTAPCHUK PETR IVANOVICH


Ostapchuk Petr Ivanovich was born on January 5, 1956 in the village of Bolshiye Orly, Stolin district, Brest region.


In 1984 he graduated from the music school in Brest.


All his working activities are connected with the Stolin region.


Since 1973 - head of the rural House of Culture in the village of Duboy (Stolin district), since 1977 - accompanist of the Stolin district House of Culture, since 1992 - conductor of the folk ensemble of folk music "Vytsinanka" of the Stolin city House of Culture, since 2004 - conductor of the Honored amateur group of the Republic of Belarus, the folk ensemble of folk music "Vytsinanka" of the Stolin city House of Culture.


In 2016 he was awarded the badge "For contribution to the development of culture of Belarus", in 2018 he was awarded the title "Ganarovy Palyashuk".


By the decision of the Stolin District Council of Deputies in December 2019, for many years of labor merits, active social activities and significant contribution to the revival of the traditional culture of Polesie, she was awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Stolin District".


MIRONOVICH VALENTINA VASILIEVNA

(16.04.1949г.-15.02.2025г.)


Valentina Vasilievna Mironovich was born on April 16, 1949, in the city of David-Gorodok, Stolin district.


After graduating from the Belarusian State University in Minsk in 1972, she received a degree in journalism. In 1991, she graduated from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus with a degree in political science. Valentina Vasilievna's entire career from 1966 to 2010 was devoted to working in the regional newspaper "Naviny Palessya", from journalist to editor-in-chief. After retiring in 2011, Valentina Vasilievna Mironovich was elected chairperson of the regional Council of Veterans.


A great deal of work was done by Valentina Vasilievna to create the books "Memory. Stolin district" and "Pracounnaya slava Stolinshchyny".


In 2017, for active participation in the activities of the veteran organization and ideological and patriotic education of the youth of the Stolin district, she was awarded the Gratitude of the President of the Republic of Belarus. In 2020, she was awarded the Letter of Gratitude of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, in 2021 - the Certificate of Honor of the Brest Regional Council of Deputies.


By the decision of the Stolin District Council of Deputies in February 2021, for an active civic position, assistance to local authorities in holding election campaigns, participation in socio-political, cultural and mass events, charity events, a great personal contribution to resolving issues of social protection of the elderly, war and labor veterans and targeted work on patriotic education of children and youth, she was awarded the title "Honorary Citizen of the Stolin District".


MAKSIMOVICH ANATOLY KAPITONOVICH


          

Maksimovich Anatoly Kapitonovich was born on March 14, 1952 in the village of Khoromsk, Stolin district, Brest region.


In 1973 he graduated from the Mogilev State Pedagogical Institute.


All his work activity is connected with the Stolin region.


Since 1972 - teacher of history and geography at Rubelskaya secondary school (Stolin district), since 1973 - head of the political education office at the 40th Anniversary of October collective farm (Stolin district), since 1977 - instructor of the propaganda and agitation department of the Stolin district committee of the Communist Party of Belarus, since 1978 - First Secretary of the Stolin district committee of the LKSMB, since 1980 - director of secondary school No. 2 in Stolin, since 1990 - organizer of extracurricular and extracurricular educational work at Stolin secondary school No. 3. Stolin, since 1991 - deputy chairman of the Stolin district executive committee, since 1995 - director of secondary school No. 3 in Stolin, since 2007 - chairman of the Stolin district committee of the trade union of education and science workers, since 2020 - assistant to the member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Protosovitsky G.V. (Stolin district), from 2021 to the present - chairman of the Stolin district council of veterans.


In 1986 he was awarded the medal "For Labor Valor", and in 2010 the badge "Excellent Education".


By the decision of the Stolin District Council of Deputies in December 2024, for many years of labor merit, significant personal contribution to the development of the education system and the trade union movement of the Stolin district and an active life position, he was awarded the title "Honorary Citizen of the Stolin District".
