The State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, with the participation of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the public association “Belarusian Republican Youth Union”, and the Belarusian Innovation Fund, is organizing the 15th Republican Competition of Innovative Projects.
Participation in the competition is an opportunity for project developers to present their ideas to the general public, receive expert evaluation and cash prizes.
The competition considers socially significant innovative projects at various stages of implementation with a commercialization strategy that correspond to priority areas of scientific, scientific, technical and innovative activities.
The competition is held in the categories “Best Innovation Project” and “Best Youth Innovation Project”. Participants in the competition can be legal entities and individuals. Individuals whose age does not exceed 35 years take part in the “Best Youth Innovation Project” nomination.
In order to prepare competition participants for consideration and defense of innovative projects, training seminars will be held with the involvement of leading Belarusian specialists in innovation and venture activities, and business planning.
After the absentee selection of applications (checking documents based on formal criteria, examination), the authors of the 40 best developments will take part in the final stage of defending projects before the competition council.
The winners and prize-winners of the competition are awarded diplomas and prizes:
first place (2 winners) – 3,440.00 rubles;
second place (4 winners) – 2,280.00 rubles;
third place (6 winners) – 1,160.00 rubles.
Among the winners and prize-winners, the competition council selects projects for further commercialization of their results, which will receive certificates in the amount of 22,840.00 rubles.
