Belarus has unveiled a calendar of events, "Spring in Belarus – 2026." The program includes significant regional festivals and holidays, track and field races, international sporting competitions, plein air paintings, events dedicated to Labor Day and Victory Day, and the "Night of Museums" campaign. The Brest Region will host the national open competition "Playing the Cymbals" (Baranovichi), the district cultural and spiritual festival "Light of Orthodoxy" (Bereza), the regional arts festival "Our Reflections" (Kamenets), the military-patriotic song festival "Memory" (Lyakhovichi), the folklore festival "Great Spring Karagody" (Pinsk District), the "Christ is Risen" festival (Pruzhany), and the "Brest Choral Assemblies" boys' and young men's choir festival (Brest). In Bezdezh, guests will be introduced to the folk spring ritual round dance "Strylka," and in Bereza, the best masters will be selected at the 22nd regional open-air of monumental sculpture carvers. At the end of May, a theatrical themed festival dedicated to the partisan movement is planned at the Khovanshchina memorial complex. A significant event in the region will be the "Baranovichi Spring" festival, dedicated to the 155th anniversary of the founding of the city of Baranovichi. In the Grodno region, guests are invited to the regional festival and craft fair "Grodno Tradition and the Svyataya Vyalikadnya" (Grodno) and the folk dance festival "Tantsuem pa-daÞneyshamu" (Lida district). The village of Sopotskin near Grodno will host the "Pysanki" festival, Shchuchin will host the "May Tunes" festival, Svisloch will host the "Symphony of Belovezhskaya Pushcha" plein air for young artists, and the Porechye agrotown will host the "Fanfares of the Syabro" brass music festival. The Zhyrovichy agrotown will host the "Zhyrovitskaya Svyata" festival, Oshmyany will host the "Evenings at Sofia Golshanskaya's" cultural event, Dyatlovo will host the "Zetselsk Fest" family recreation festival, and Slonim will host the "Palanez: From the Heart of the Water to the Heart" festival. Volkovysk has scheduled the "PROzharka po-Volkovyskski" festival for the end of May, where they plan to prepare the largest shashlik in Belarus. The Vitebsk Region's event calendar highlights such events as the "Gukanne Vyasny" festival, the "Theatre Spring 2026" competition in Vitebsk, and the "Muzychnaya Lileya" international competition for young pianists in Novopolotsk. In May, the Proryv memorial complex near Ushachi will host the regional patriotic event "Breakthrough of Victory," while Braslav will host the international festival of traditional culture "Braslaўskіya Zarnіtsy" (Brasla's Golden Age) and the traditional annual medieval culture festival "Moch Bryachislava" (Sword of Bryachislav). The Mogilev region will host the International Youth Theatre Forum "M.@rt.kontakt" (Mogilev), the International Conductors' Forum (Mogilev), the regional festivals "Gaspadarchy syr" (Slavgorod), "Vesnavyya kolery" (Osipovichi), "Klich nad Volsay" (Klichev), and others. The Gomel region will present the folk rituals "Zasevki" (Buda-Koshelevsky district), "Saraki" (Yelsky, Chechersky districts), and the ritual "Transfer of the locally venerated icon of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker".The region also hosts the Second Open Regional Competition of Children's Theatre Groups "Golden Hedgehog" (Svetlogorsk), the children's music and art competitions "Musical Olympus" (Dobrush), "Constellation of Colors" (Gomel), the festivals "Flow, Folk Song!"
