Vasily Litvinkevich, Head of the Stolin District Executive Committee's Department of Agriculture and Food, commented on the results of this first important stage of the harvest: "The winter barley harvest in the Stolin District is now complete. Our agricultural enterprises harvested a total of 2,340 hectares. Thanks to coordinated efforts and excellent labor organization, the gross grain harvest exceeded last year's level by 406 tons. I would say the most important and most pleasing outcome of this harvest is the significant qualitative increase in the productivity of our fields. The average winter barley yield in the district was 59.1 c/ha, which is 13.2 c/ha higher than the 2025 target. It's a worthy start. We have an equally intense harvest of the remaining grain crops ahead of us. I'm confident that the current pace and fighting spirit will help Stolin farmers complete the entire harvest campaign at the same high level and without losses!"
