Sweets are not for joy. During inspections of the Baranovichi retail chain, the Brest Regional Inspectorate of the State Standard discovered hazardous food products – sterilized heat-stable cherry jam, peach, cherry, and blackcurrant preserves, and apricot, cherry, and strawberry jams labeled "Please come to the table!" Undeclared synthetic colors and preservatives were found in the products, which are unacceptable for this type of product. Furthermore, the labeling does not contain warnings about the presence of ingredients that affect children's activity and attention, creating a risk of harm to health. The State Standard has issued orders banning the import and circulation of these hazardous products in the Republic of Belarus, withdrawing them (recalling them from circulation), and revoking the conformity assessment documents accompanying the products. Information about hazardous products and documents that have been revoked in the republic can be found on the state information resource "Hazardous Products": https://danger.gskp.by/ReestrOp.
