Tariff increases from March 1: what awaits Belarusians?
Updated tariffs for gas, electricity, and heat for households will take effect in Belarus on March 1, 2026. The corresponding Council of Ministers resolution was signed by Alexander Turchin. Gas prices will increase by 7.07%, resulting in a bill increase of approximately 0.93 rubles. Electricity tariffs will increase by 7%, and the bill amount will increase by 2.99 rubles. Heat energy will increase by 7.3% and will take effect on June 1, 2026. The total increase in utility costs for a typical apartment with standard consumption will be 22.5 rubles (0.5 of the base value).
