The best doctors of Belarus according to the results of 2023 were named in Minsk. The solemn award ceremony took place today in the Palace of the Republic on the eve of the Day of Medical Workers.
Ihar Lazarchyk, deputy chief physician for the medical department of the Minsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital, was recognized as the Doctor of the Year in the "Pediatrician" category.
The head of the therapeutic department of the Lida Central District Hospital Lidia Kazlova received the award in the "Therapist" nomination.
According to the results of last year, the best doctor-surgeon was the doctor - X-ray endovascular surgeon, head of the Department of Children's Surgery of the RNPC, Pavel Charnaglaz.
In the "Doctor - obstetrician-gynecologist" nomination, the award went to Tatsiana Yarutskaya, head of the pregnancy pathology department of the Mogilev City Emergency Hospital.
Anna Kutsaia, the head of Belavushsk General Practice Outpatient Clinic of Stolina Central District Hospital, was recognized as the best general practitioner.
Speaking before the medical community, the Minister of Health, Alexander Khadzhaev, expressed his confidence that each of the medical workers is waiting for their professional holiday. "Each of you is waiting for a holiday of attention and everyone understands how right they once made their choice, realizing their dream, saving people and benefiting their country," he said.
After the solemn meeting dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the national health care system and the Day of Medical Workers, during which the best doctors of the year were named by nominations, a celebratory concert "Loyalty to the Profession" took place. Through the musical and artistic narrative of the concert, the destinies of famous Belarusian doctors and organizations, who during their professional activities cured and saved countless people, built and restored medical institutions, stood at the origins of the modern health care system and specialized education, passed.
