In March 2024, the competition of works of creative youth “Golden Pen of White Rus' - 2024” started. The organizers of the competition are the RPO "Belaya Rus" together with the Belarusian Union of Journalists with the support of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus, as well as the Union of Writers of Belarus and the editorial offices of the republican media.
Creative works for the competition must be submitted in the essay genre - in 4 categories: “Student” (school students, young people receiving secondary specialized/vocational education), “Student” (universities), “Amateur” (working youth whose activities are not is related to the media and “Professional” (media employees) on the following topic - “Be a Belarusian!”
The age of participants is up to 35 years.
“Be Belarusian!” - the general theme of the competition works of young journalists “Golden Pen of White Rus' - 2024”, dedicated to the Year of Quality and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.
The essay is proposed to be dedicated to the fate of the inhabitants of our Motherland, who defended the honor and independence of the country, to talk about the courage and bravery of modern heroes, about those who have made a significant contribution to the preservation of peace and security, about people who add truly innovative and high-quality developments to life and, of course, those who, by their own example, instill in the younger generation the true values and traditions of the Belarusian people.
The creative work competition is held in 3 stages. Acceptance of work at the regional stage is carried out from March 1 to April 19, 2024. Please note that works that do not meet the requirements, as well as those found to be plagiarized, are not allowed to participate in the competition.
