On June 2, the Brest region will present a gala concert in Minsk at the republican festival “Belarus is my song,” the press service of the Brest Regional Executive Committee reported.
Many surprises have been prepared for the guests. All the secrets are not revealed, but several interesting points are already known. In the foyer of the Palace of the Republic, guests will be greeted by the symbol of the Brest region - a small copy of the bison sculpture located on the M1 highway. There will be an opportunity to communicate with the Brest lamplighter.
“On the main stage of the Palace of the Republic, the Brest region will lift the veil of the uniqueness and dissimilarity of the region, demonstrating all the richness and versatility of the cultural palette. For the festival, we have prepared the exhibition “1 region - 85...” and a large-scale gala concert “We are created by land,” said the press service of the Brest Regional Executive Committee. The exhibition will consist of 12 locations. Visitors will be able to get acquainted with the historical and cultural heritage of the Brest region, with its tourism brands.
About 1.5 thousand people will take part in the gala concert - more than 50 creative groups, about 30 vocalists and instrumentalists. The show uses numerous technical means and special effects. The concert program was varied in theme and genre. Thus, a piece of music dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Brest region will be performed for the first time on the stage of the Palace of the Republic. The performance of a large combined brass band, which will unite five groups, promises to be bright.
“Each guest will become the owner of a postcard made by students of children’s art schools in the Brest region as part of the “Brest region through the eyes of children” campaign. In addition, viewers, using the QR code on their invitation cards, will be able to open a presentation video about the Brest region and immerse themselves in the world of beauty and history of our beloved region,” the press service added.
