Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Alexander Maksimchuk signed a letter addressed to the chairmen of city and district executive committees. "Due to the drop in outside temperatures, please consider providing heating energy for preschools, schools, health care facilities, medical institutions, social welfare institutions, specialized educational and sports institutions, museums, state archives, libraries, and hotels," the letter states. The decision to begin the heating season is made based on the Rules for the Preparation, Conduct, and Completion of the Heating Season, approved by Resolution No. 286 of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated May 14, 2020.
