The Ministry of Defense announces a photo competition “Belarus Remembers...” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders..
The competition runs until June 3, 2024. Citizens of any age can take part in it. As the military department clarified, the competition is held in order to form among citizens of Belarus a patriotic consciousness, high spiritual and moral qualities, respect for the historical memory of the feat of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War and the contribution of Belarusians to the victory over fascism, the history and traditions of the Armed Forces . One of the goals is also to instill personal responsibility for ensuring the security and defense of the Fatherland.
The number of participants in the competition is not limited, but the number of works sent by one competitor should not exceed five photographs of different genres. Photos are provided to the jury in electronic or printed form.
Those wishing to take part in the competition must send their photographic works to the selection committee by June 3, 2024, attaching an application in any form, indicating the last name, first name and patronymic, title (brief description) of the photographic work, contact phone number, and email address. Works are sent to the address: 220029, Minsk, Bogdanovicha St., 29, state institution "Military Information Agency of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus "Vayar" or to the email address news@mod.mil.by (with the note "For a photo competition"). The jury will evaluate the works and determine the winners of the competition from June 3 to June 10.
